Located in rue de la Paix in Paris, a stone’s throw away from Opera Garnier and Vendôme square, Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme Hotel counts 9 floors of which 2 basements and opens onto two inner courtyards. Its discreet luxury and refined elegance combines the classic style with the values of French architecture and a contemporary sophisticated design.
Designed in 2002 by the American French based architect Ed Tuttle, in 2016 the Hotel created new suites and a complete renovation of the hotel: 153 rooms and suites, Le Pur restaurant, the Lobby and Bar, the Spa and the conference rooms.
The renovation concerns primarily the creation of new rooms, the improvement of comfort and services through site specific design, automation and smart technologies and the compliance upgrade regarding fire safety as well as equipment and architectural standards for people with disabilities.
We were entrusted with the mission of architectural and interior design in collaboration with Ed Tuttle who brought his talent in order to define the architectural layout and the decoration of the spaces.
The renovation was carried out in an occupied site, following a complex schedule which allowed the smooth transition between overlapping interventions.
This large-scale renovation successfully worked to further intensify the identity and qualities of the Palace by reinforcing its contemporary and classic identity, its sophisticated and refined comfort, symbols of French luxury.

The Louvre hotel was built in 1855, facing the royal palace’s square and the Opera avenue, stands right next to Louvre Museum and the Comédie-Française.
Its arcades situated on the rue Rivoli and the royal square’s facades form a typical example of Haussmanian architecture.
This singular location turns this hotel into a unique building where every facade opens onto an urban space with a strong identity.
The Hyatt Group undertook a heavy renovation program aiming to renovate all interior spaces, technical equipment, as well as facades and roofs.
We conducted architectural and design studies on the central courtyard in order to reconfigure the hotel’s public spaces.
The project focused on the restoration of the rediscovered art-deco glass roof in order to propose architectural transparencies based on movement and view as well as new functions in the transitional spaces.
The project was carried out in partnership with the New York based studio, George Wong Design, for the interior design.
The hotel is part of the Unbound Collection by Hyatt.
We were awarded the prize for best hotel in the category - upscale public space by the magazine "hospitality design" in New York.

The Hotel Martinez is one of the most emblematic hotels of the French Riviera. Built in an art-deco style in 1927, it became part of the Hyatt group in 2013, which resulted in a complex operation of renovation.
The hotel includes 409 room and suites, 2 restaurants and conference rooms.
All interior spaces, technical installations and the exterior spaces were renovated.
The architectural interest relates to the new articulation of the public spaces of the ground floor by rediscovering the original terrace open to the sea.
The project restores the original configuration of the ‘’Croisette’’ and stay part of the heritage framework imposed by the building and the ‘’Boulevard de la Croisette’’.
We conducted prospective studies on the reorganization of common areas, landscaping, spa, and beach bar.
Pierre Yves Rochon developed a relevant and sensitive interior architecture project.
Studio Niez developed the garden project, imbued with the natural landscapes of the Mediterranean.

The ambassador hotel is located in Haussmann Boulevard on the 9th district of Paris nearby Lafayette galleries.
Its cold façade of 1927 houses generous functional spaces around three courtyards.
The project concerned the renovation of 296 rooms and suites, common spaces, the restaurant, the lobby and the conference room.
It also included the creation of a new staircase and the transformation of the 8th floor by adding new conference rooms.

The Tiara Miramar Beach is a five-star hotel located in “Théoule sur mer” on the Mediterranean Sea. It includes 59 rooms and suites, a restaurant, a bar, a spa, an exterior pool, and a private beach with restaurant.
The interior spaces were re-configured with the creation of the spa and the development of the beach restaurant.
The exterior spaces were redeveloped using raw and natural materials. The technical elements and the pergola faded to stage the furniture and the extraordinary view.
We worked on the interior design and re-configuration of the exterior spaces, terraces, stairs, and the pool.
The project was conducted in partnership with Magna Design and Agence FARAGOU landscape design.
